One area where Avalanche Software has always excelled is in the identifying of and realizing brand and player fantasies with any IP we take on. Hogwarts Legacy continues this trend, and takes it to the next level. Flying Hippogriffs, sneaking around Hogwarts, selecting your wand, fighting Dark Wizards, taming a Graphorn, mastering the Dark Arts, making close friends and getting to the bottom of a Dark Mystery are just some of the fantasies players can partake in within Hogwarts Legacy.

FInding a balance between Hogwarts as a school as well as a place full of wonder and discovery was a unique challenge throughout production. In the end, Hogwarts is fully-realized, with each core class represented giving the player access to varying gameplay mechanics, spells, Assignments and professor personalities. Additionally, the school is brimming with stories for the player to find and create themselves through keen exploration and creativity.

Hogwarts Legacy allows the player to meet and forge friendships with students of different Houses, unlocking storylines for some of them. These storylines allow the player to delve deeper into each character and help them in their personal pursuits. Access to unique quests, Dark Arts spells and content is gated by developing these friendships.
